Impurities and Toxins in the Skin Cause Aging

Anywhere we go there’s pollution. Whether we live in a big city or in a small town, there’s bound to be some amount of pollution in the environment where we move in. This is a known fact that almost no one can dispute.  Well, pollution in any form is not good for our skin and total health. Different diseases have come over many people because of this.

When it comes to its effects to the skin one should try to cleanse it as often so as to purify skin once again. Leaving dirt and toxins to lie there a long time could spell disaster. Pollution also has depleted our ozone layer. Because of this, exposure to the sun’s rays has become harmful to our skin. Over exposure to sun or the many years of exposure to it causes wrinkles and thus, aging.

This is also coupled with the beauty care products we might have been using. Some products have harsh chemicals that cause wrinkles, dry skin and even allergies to the skin. Such effects contributes to the process aging. In addition to that, collagen and elastin weakens as each year goes by. Collagen is a protein holding the skin together while elastin gives it flexibility. Elastin is also the reason why your skin reverts back to its position after a pinch or a punch.  Also comes with aging is the reduction of the natural fatty layer in our skin. This plus gravity means the sagging of the skin.

So the environment and the natural processes in our body all contribute to aging. That is why we need to help our skin restore and recondition itself into a better looking skin again. That’s why also many people turn to beauty products to regain and maintain their beautiful skin. It is a good idea to do so. But one has to be careful that he or she uses only those from natural materials. Chemicals can only do more harm than good. There are many all natural and herbal products available now. One popular ingredient now has been the Dead Sea mud. It has been said to cleanse and detoxify the skin. Not only that, Dead Sea mud contains many minerals in it so it is capable of giving the skin a balanced pH level and replace insufficient minerals and stimulants to make your skin stay beautiful or to make it beautiful again.
